With over 35 years of appraisal experience, George "Ed" Whitener is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser licensed in Virginia and North Carolina, qualified to appraise all property types—residential and commercial.
Ed began his real estate career in 1983 after earning his Virginia Realtor’s License. He became a licensed Residential Appraiser in 1991, working as an Independent Fee Appraiser for a variety of lenders. In 1995, he joined Piedmont Trust Bank as a staff and review appraiser and later earned his Certified General License.
He remains an active member of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Fee Panel, the FHA Appraiser Roster, and is listed on the ASC National Registry. His appraisal services include:
